What is influence group

influence group produces invite-only leadership retreats. Originally founded in New York City, today influence group produces 13 events per year. I started as an intern and now I work here as the Design Manager. 

As a design manager, I'm responsible for overseeing the user experiences for our stakeholders, including promoting our events and engaging with our audience.

MasterMinds Series
 

Connecting Minds to Navigate Change
 

Our MasterMinds series are exclusive, invitation-only roundtables for C-level executives. Initially born out of a need to unite leaders during uncertain times, these meetings have become integral to our live events. My role was to design and launch the registration portal, craft engaging email campaigns, and ensure smooth virtual hosting on Zoom.

Our innovative webcast series of 2020 broke new ground by turning passive viewing into interactive engagement. I was at the helm of branding and producing these unique webcast shows, ensuring each episode stood out — our take on 'The Hot Ones' is a testament to our creative approach.

At Influence Group, I ensure that every detail of our event logistics contributes to a frictionless attendee experience. I oversee the design of our app, maintaining its aesthetic and functional appeal, and vet new software solutions to keep us ahead of the curve.

Post-event engagement is as crucial as the event itself. I devise email marketing strategies to keep our audience captivated, working alongside producers and marketers to craft and iterate content distribution strategies that resonate with new and existing audiences alike.

At the heart of our work lies a commitment to continuous improvement, driven by user research and iterative design. I spearhead the research initiatives for our events and facilitate team debriefs to distill actionable insights, ensuring our processes evolve with our client’s needs.

Effective use of data is key to any marketing strategy. My contribution involves organizing cross-functional meetings to leverage our database creatively and efficiently, crafting video tutorials to demystify complex marketing strategies and tools for the team.
